Sunday, March 25th – True Honor Screening and National Medal of Honor Day

Special Sunday museum opening for National Medal of Honor Day.  Museum open 12 – 4.

True Honor film screening at 2:00. True Honor presents the incredible and inspiring stories of 17 American Jewish heroes who received the Nation’s highest military award, the Medal of Honor. This includes the story of Tibor Rubin, a Holocaust survivor who was captured as an American soldier in the Korean War and placed in a Chinese POW camp. Despite extraordinary valor in combat and in his actions as a POW, Rubin was denied the Medal of Honor for decades. He finally received the award in 2002 after a review of records of Jewish soldiers.
