The history of American Jews serving during the Vietnam War. This traveling display version of the larger exhibit in our halls was curated by the National Vietnam Veterans Committee of Jewish War Veterans of the USA. It chronicles the Vietnam War’s history and the role of Jewish Americans who served, both in combat and in support roles. Blending a detailed timeline with photographs, personal stories, and accounts of religious life, it highlights service experiences, challenges such as POW captivity, PTSD, and Agent Orange exposure, and the ways Jewish identity was maintained in the combat zone.
