Conduct Oral Histories. Having students interview Jewish (or other) veterans is a great way to learn more about a time period and conflict. We recommend it for grades 10 and above or for younger students with adult supervision. The Library of Congress Veterans History Project is the most comprehensive program for veterans’ oral histories. Seehttp://www.loc.gov/vets/youth-resources.html for more resources. If you interview, a Jewish veteran, please contact the museum so we can place a copy in our archives.
